Concentration Tracker - Chrome Extension

The Concentration Tracker is a Chrome extension developed as part of a research project. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Our extension collects the following anonymous timing data when you use it:

Data collection is entirely under your control. The extension only sends data when you explicitly click the "Send Data" button. You can use the extension to track your focus sessions without ever sending any data.

When you click "Send Data," the anonymous timing information is transmitted securely to a Google Sheets database via Google Apps Script. This data is:
Anonymous session data is retained for the duration of the research project. The data may be used in aggregated, anonymized form for research publications and presentations. Individual session data cannot be traced back to any specific user.
You have complete control over your data:
The extension stores session data locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. This data remains on your device and is only transmitted when you explicitly choose to send it. Local storage is cleared when you uninstall the extension.
We take reasonable measures to protect the data we collect:
This extension is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
